Lovely inkiness :)

Here's a picture of the Fat Book that I received back from the KCUK group :) Love that group so much.

Such amazing quality of pages, and so much time and effort put into them.

Here's a tag I did for August's Challenge, using distress inks, tattered angels masks, Simple Expressions stamps and silver paint daubbers.

Finally, I got some of the Bind-it-all canvas covers, played again with the adirondack pigment inks :) great fun. This is a book for playing around with techniques.

Going to the zoo...

We had such a lovely time at the zoo yesterday, and afterwards we went to the fountains at the Cathedral Quarter and had a super soaking time :)

In other news I got my Chunky/Fat book back from the KCUK group :) Wow! I am so lucky to be part of this group, the finished book is absolutely stunning, everyone put so much effort into it, and that is a lot when they had to make 27 identical pages! I'll try to take some photos tomorrow and post them here!

Stamp Camp, Ink and Life in general...

So it's been a while... Stamp Camp has been and gone - it was amazing, made 6 fantastic projects, all good quality products, fabulous. Met some lovely people, who are all very talented, it was amazing to be surrounded by so much talent and so inspiring. I feel so much more confident in what I can do now and what I know about inks :)

I joined Technique Junkies in a bid to learn new techniques...

A few days ago we made cookies... I read on all these blogs about the wonderful family things people do with beautiful pictures of the most stunning picture perfect cupcakes, not a bit of icing out of place... *snort* this is what we managed with a pre-made box of postman pat cookie mix (just add butter and water *yay!*):

(oooh we had ate 4 before I thought to take pictures...)

We had a lovely day with Joy and Mr C yesterday, and also a lovely day at the zoo today :) Making the most of our beautiful weather at the moment!

Here's a few of my favourites from the beach:

Hello!!!!

Yay! I am back, well kind of...

I've not been up to a whole lot recently, just life in general.

If I ever find my memory card reader I'll upload some Stamp Camp photos and some updates.

Hope that everyone is doing well :)

Playing Catch-up

Nothing creative happening here at the moment, just have no time to do anything...

We're off to spend time with the newly weds tomorrow (sadly though, not to Hong Kong! lol!).

Wanted to post some pictures we've taken with our new camera :) Looking forward to scrapping these ones :)

He likes looking out the letter box to see his Daddy go to the end of the road when he heads off to work - needs to watch 'til he can see him no more.

He's a computer nerd, like his daddy, though it has a lot to do with there being an insane number of episodes of Thomas the tank engine on that laptop...

I just love these last two

*step away from the craft products...*

I am officially on a stash diet... if you catch me buying things (aside from maybe Bazzil cardstock) stop me please.

Need to save my pennies for Stamp Camp in June.

My brother gets married a week from today :) Am so excited for them, they are the loveliest couple ever, who would ever have thought that there was someone out there who could fit in so well with our crazy family? She's what I always hoped it would be like to have a sister-in-law, like a sister, just wish they didn't live on the other side of the world!

So I made them a wedding card, using pearlescent card, cuttlebug embossing folders, gold rose vellum... very pretty and not my usual thing, but I am pleased with it! (shhh I used p**l offs, cause I kinda lost track of time and ended up making this at 11pm last night so that it could be posted to Hong Kong today in time for the wedding... I know... I know...)

I've also been scrapping and trying to use up some supplies, plus catch up on photos... I've got up to Christmas covered I think, but still need to do more.

Mr Incredible!

Last Night we went to see Disney on Ice... we had only decided last week that Daniel might sit through the whole thing as it was about the Incredibles (which he loves)...

Well he was so excited by it all, and was a little angel, pointed to "Mackey Moose" (mickey) and kept clapping his hands along... awww... he only figured out the Incredibles part when they put their red suits on, but he was so excited... he ate all our snacks on us too (good job we only bought a small popcorn, cause he decided it was his!), so he was kind of on a sugar rush *oooops*

Managed to grab this cute picture beforehand outside using our wee point and shoot camera;
