A busy week

Been busy this week visiting family, culminating in a very special family day together on Friday. We stayed in this beautiful hotel, with a gorgeous view of the river.



Finally managed to get a half decent photograph of myself and the wee man. :)



He got a hair cut this week, he was fascinated by the lady who did it but wasn't impressed that she was doing stuff that he couldn't turn his head to see! lol...

New Shoes and a work in Progress...

The wee man got some new shoes yesterday. He got a little picture taken, but it was so rubbish... so tried to take some this morning, but he's a grumpy boy...



Thought I'd share a work in progress too... its a large canvas that I am just pottering around with... it's nowhere near done, and I don't know if it ever will be, but it's fun...

Lucky Girl!

Wow! I am so lucky, DH and the wee man bought be some valentines pressies which arrived yesterday evening (think they had given up on them ever being delivered!)... got a beautiful balloon which the wee man has taken over as his own and DH bought me a beautiful vase with tulips... they are so lovely :D

Canvas

I finally managed to make some stuff over the last few days that I am happy with, just need some more supplies now!

Here's a canvas that I made. Inked the background with Distress inks, stamped onto tissue paper, did some packing tape transfers of definitions, some collage elements and then my first use of beeswax, and crayons using my new 7gypsies meltpot :) Love it :) (click picture to make bigger)

Sorry for not posting for so long, things going on y'know... I've added a new banner, but will probably play around a bit more with it before I am happy with it. Been busy over the last few days creating. Will upload some stuff later.
