Firstly, a 12x12 canvas that was primed with watered down PVA, then string tied and adhered to it, also added a lacey ribbon. This was then covered with two layers of tissue paper. I then painted this with blue/green acrylic paints, interference paints and finished off with silver rub on wax.
The second canvas was primed with gesso, which was stamped into, and two layers of lace adhered to the canvas. It was the painted with red/cranberry/yellow acrylic paints, interference paints and finished with gold and blue rub on waxes. I then stamped a script stamp onto the edges.
